Suppliers we love – The Archivist
Here at Liv’s HQ we love each and every one of our suppliers. Some have something that makes them just that little bit extra-special. Whether they are UK based, a designer/maker or perhaps support a charity social enterprise – we LOVE to proudly tell their story in store. And The Archivist is no exception.
The Stock
We stock a selection of gorgeous boxes and bottles of matches. In my opinion they are too special to be put in the drawer, and they make the perfect addition to a candle gift.
These super special matches are by a company called “The Archivist”. They celebrate the timeless nature of letterpress delivered on stunning high quality products.
Here’s a bit more about them:
The Archivist was founded in 1994 by Sarah and William Allardice. They offer the highest quality Letterpress printed cards and stationery.
Prior to running Archivist, Sarah had a career with a prominent British stationery brand while William arrived via the design department of Wedgwood. Their vision was consistent—that Archivist would offer high quality letterpress products that never lose their sense of fun.
Sarah and William firmly believe that letterpress remains the best form of printing available. We are committed to offering fabulous customer service. Over nearly two decades, we have realised that it’s only worth doing business if you’re going to be nice about it. Our products are timeless and can be found in some of the most prestigious of Britain’s retailers including Conran, Paperchase, Liberty, the V&A and the Natural History Museum. Our boxes of matches are an extension of the timeless appeal of our products as well as being a fun take on something ordinary and rather useful.
