Liv's aspires to bring you the coolest collection of original, distinctive and on-trend homewares and quality furniture with realistic (and tempting) prices. Based in Solihull, West Midlands, Liv's brick and mortar shop reflects its Norwegian founder's Scandinavian outlook on life, with it's relaxed, welcoming and friendly.

A little note from our founder:

Growing up in Bergen, Norway - (Europe's wettest city) encouraged a passion in me for creating a home that's warm and inviting, restful yet refreshing. Most of us lead a hectic lifestyle, and I hope to bring you little pockets of beauty, sunshine and happiness to your everyday life. Be this through a scented candle, a soft throw, a hand-thrown ceramic mug or a dining table for entertaining friends and family, which will stand the test of time.
My aim is to do so in a way that's a fine balance of quality and price. Where possible, I will always choose fair-trade and handmade products, made from recycled materials, and if there is a charitable cause behind a line then even better.

Our most renowned collection
Sherwood Range

If you are after the rustic, homespun feeling in your furniture, then our Sherwood Range will certainly interest you. Made from solid wood, sourced from managed forests in Canada. The weather there means the pine grows slowly, so growth rings are tighter making it exceptionally stable timber. The result is sustainable furniture built to last with tons of heritage.

Did you know we make our bestselling Sherwood furniture ourselves? Yup, we have a factory in Lincolnshire. We bought it in 2022, when the previous owner wished to retire. If that had been the case we would not be able to stock the handmade, solid wood furniture that our customers love so much and so we bought it. In addition to this MC loves woodwork, not that he gets to do much hands-on stuff, but he enjoys the subject. And the challenge of running 2 businesses… 

Each piece is handmade in England and is completely unique. The furniture boasts all the warmth and strength which rough sawn solid Canadian pine is able to offer. Finished either in brown or rustic white wax, these designs will evoke the welcoming ambience of the most relaxing and comforting of woodland barns.

We mostly make beds, dining tables and shelving units. But we also make vinyl storage cubes, picture shelves and mirrors. The classic finish is antique pine wax on a rough sawn surface. Where the surface is rough the wax looks darker, giving it a beautiful variation in colour.

 

Dining Tables

The kitchen and the dining room together is the twin beating heart of any home, and the dining table is the dominant feature which helps those spaces function, practically and aesthetically. A central element of family dinners, drinks parties with friends, and seasonal celebrations, the dining table is there as the bedrock for it all. For this reason, we take the job of creating the perfect dining table seriously.

As well as offering beautiful wooden dining tables from our aforementioned Boston and Sherwood ranges, we also have some designs in the Milano collection for those partial to modern, minimalist style. These tables used polished concrete effect and brushed steel to achieve a heightened pitch of contemporary elegance. 

Faux Flowers & Plants

It is not just furniture that we offer, as you will also be able to pick up or order some high quality faux flowers and plants for the home. More sustainable and less of a source of fuss, the faux flower is any interior designer's secret weapon. Giving your home a feeling of all-year-round freshness and energy, artificial plants and flowers offer colour and texture without the added stress of continually needing to water them (or replace them!). You will be able to purchase bundles which have been premade, or if you would prefer, you can pick up individual dry flowers so that you can create your own bouquets.

 

 

Candles

From thick pillar candles to skinny dinner candles, our range offers some sumptuous options which can at turns be there to dazzle and to relax. The colour range in our candle collection features dark and dusty blues all the way over to powder pink, and everything in between. Our whole team is also big on the joys of stylish and attention grabbing candle holders. Take a look through our online store and you will see everything from animal themed statement pieces to elegant glass pillar candle plate stands. To complete the package, we even sell retro style match box sets which have been luxuriously illustrated using traditional letter pressing techniques on original machinery.
