Meet The Team
Liv – Founder and Creative Genius
Liv is the Creative Director of the business, chief buyer and has a fabulous eye for trends. Originally from Bergen in Norway, her style influence can be seen throughout the shop. Liv designed our lovely website and provides creative guidance and strategy across all projects. Momma to Betty & Olive (our resident pooches) Liv loves all dogs, when she’s not in the office, she’s talking to everybody’s dog on the shop floor.
MC – Managing Director and Operations Mastermind
Michael is Liv’s husband and co-founder of the business. He is the man who makes everything work from admin and payments to warehousing and security. With a background in construction and house renovations, MC is the guy to turn to for big in-store builds, and his knowledge of furniture is unrivalled. Michael loves The Beatles, football, F1 and thinks there is nothing worse than warm flat beer!
Kate – Styling Sensation
Kate is our Visual Merchandiser, who joined the team back in 2013. Day to day, Kate can be found up a ladder in the windows (her favourite place to be!) or on the shop floor merchandising like a ninja! Championing customer service, and total team cheerleader, Kate works to keep a happy shop. Kate loves all things interiors, travelling, a chilly Vinho Verde and Country Music.
Erin - Chief Orchestrator & In-House Illustrator
Erin joined Liv’s in 2022 with a creativity that she’s injected all around the shop. She even sells her unique prints and cards in store! Alongside being a cheerful face around the shop, Erin is our assistant manager and makes EVERYTHING happen. From helping Liv and Michael on buying trips, merchandising, socials, web and everything in between. Erin can tackle it all! If not in the shop, she can be found at a maker’s market or choosing yet another stylish jumper for her Fox-Terrier, Seamus!
Sarah - Team Supervisor & Furniture Pro
Sarah’s lifetime of furniture retail experience makes her expert in all things home! She knows the ins and outs of materials & fittings - making her the perfect go-to for advice. On her days off, Sarah can be found walking her dogs, Finn and Hartley, whose unique personalities provide endless stories for us at Liv’s.
Owen and Steve- Our Trusty Delivery Team
Delivery Team, Steve & Owen have years of combined experience in handling furniture and delivering it safely to your home. When they’re not on the road, Steve has his own window cleaning business with a wealth of local customers. When he’s not working, Steve loves jetting off on holiday and walking his dog Bella. Whilst Owen enjoys keeping fit, DJing and going to Festivals & live music nights around the UK.
Laurence - Customer Champion
Laurence's customer service skills are second to none! Laurence is often found moving and putting together furniture all around the shop floor, up and down stairs. When he's not helping customers, Laurence can be found at University studying Film and dreaming up the next Oscar-winning blockbuster.
Shakira - Social Media and Web Order Wizz
A true native of the online world, Shakira loves to create content, keep the website up to date and handles every web order with care. So that degree in Liberal Arts, International Media & Communications has come in handy. She is a huge music fan and can be found spinning records and writing at every moment she gets!
Eliza - Weekend Wonder
Eliza joined our team in 2025 to help over the Christmas period and since has injected positivity throughout the shop! Eliza is fab at web orders, deliveries and recommending the perfect gift! On the shop floor Eliza can always be heard singing a happy little tune well before she can be seen. When Eliza isn't in the shop, she can be found at the local pub quiz or at her acting class!
